Eleanor & Marc

It’s always a pleasure to photograph a wedding at a new, yet local, venue. Marc and Eleanor’s wedding at The Party Field near Lewes was spectacular in many ways.

The weather was… changeable. A little rain followed by strong winds created a windswept atmosphere, which both the guests and the young couple embraced with aplomb. The outdoor ceremony, led by the fantastic local celebrant Beth Kirkham, went off without a hitch. We even captured a perfectly timed confetti shot.

The Party Field is a unique venue where guests can camp under the stars in a picturesque setting at the foot of the South Downs, near the historic town of Lewes in East Sussex. Their partnership with Tribeca Teepees, who provide stunning Nordic-style party marquees, makes for a versatile and well-sheltered celebration—even in challenging weather. There’s plenty of space for dining and dancing, as you can see. I can't wait to photograph another wedding in the field.
