Hailing from Canvey Island, Essex Lou and Matt chose to get married at Lewes Registry Office and Southover Grange for the location’s architectural beauty, history, and gardens. People do come from far and wide and for good reason. It is an incredible wedding venue and Lou, Matt and their guests clearly enjoyed the day.

I enjoy the customs that people bring to their big day, old and new. One such custom I don’t come across often these days is tossing the bouquet but Lou decided to resurrect the practice achieving a good height. It was such a busy day that she failed to mention this was going to happen but fortunately I am always on hand and ready to capture impromptu moments as they happen. I’m really proud of the photograph and it was lovely to meet Lou, Matt, their friends and family.
